Sarah’s passion for science began at a young age. Growing up curious about how things worked, she developed a deep fascination with experimentation and discovery. This early curiosity later led her to pursue engineering studies at the prestigious University of Cambridge, where she sharpened her analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. After graduation, she began her career in investment banking, but despite professional success, she felt drawn back to her true passion: education and inspiring young minds.

In 2020, Sarah co-founded Big Bang Academy with a bold vision to make science as exciting as entertainment while maintaining strong educational value. The academy offers hands-on science programs for children aged three to twelve, blending online learning with practical experiment kits that allow students to explore physics, engineering, biology, chemistry, astronomy, and environmental science in interactive ways.

Under Sarah’s leadership, the academy has rapidly grown, reaching more than 25,000 students worldwide and partnering with dozens of schools across Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area. Through innovative programs and competitions such as Project Alpha, she encourages children to develop curiosity, creativity, and confidence in scientific thinking.

Beyond education, Sarah is also a strong advocate for closing the gender gap in STEM fields. Having experienced the imbalance herself during her engineering studies, she is committed to ensuring that girls see science as a space where they belong and can thrive. Her work promotes representation, mentorship, and equal opportunities for the next generation of female innovators.
